Harrison's New Facilities

Construction of our brand-new gym and fine arts center buildings began at the end of May 2018 and was completed for the start of the 2019–20 school year. The new fine arts center has significantly more wing space and backstage area, state-of-the-art computerized lighting, and sound systems, and nearly doubles the audience capacity of our old theater with seating for 750 people. Highlights for the new gym include an impressive two-story design with an indoor running track around the top level, as well as a substantial increase in seating capacity at 3,000. In addition to these awesome facility upgrades, we are thrilled to have regained multiple parking areas and other spaces around campus that were previously restricted during construction. The reopening of our bus port behind the main building and adjacent to the new gymnasium has alleviated a lot of the traffic problems that we faced during the 2018–19 school year. Other facility improvements completed include the replacement of all exterior doors around the main building to enhance the safety and security of our school, as well as the renovated broadcast media, black box theater, and orchestra spaces. We want to send our sincerest thank you for your patience and flexibility throughout the construction process, and we hope that you enjoy these incredible new facilities that greatly enhance our wonderful campus!
