Week of 11/17/08

In GOVERNMENT this week, we'll finish up the CONSTITUTIONAL UNDERPINNINGS of our political system.

Our TEST on Tuesday will be open-note and you have been provided with a topical study guide to guide your note-taking. Remember - class notes will NOT be sufficient. You must prepare notes for yourself from the text using the study guide if you want to do really well on the test.

By FRIDAY of this week you should have read ALL of Chp.3, and over the Thanksgiving holidays you should read ALL of Chp.4. Of course, if you don't want to do that reading over the holidays, you might want to double-up and read it THIS WEEK. On the first day back from our break, you'll be quizzed on the main terms and topics of Chps.3 and 4.

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT (DUE FRI., NOV.21st)
USE TEXTBOOK CHP.3 (AND THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF AT THE BACK OF THE BOOK) TO:
(A)WRITE A BRIEF 3-4 SENTENCE DESCRIPTION OF EACH OF THE SEVEN ARTICLES OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION
