This week we will be working on drawing your home landscape. Ask your parents if they have a Plat Plan, it would be in there closing papers. I will make a copy and give back. This will help you see where your house is located on your property as well a sacle that it is drawn in. If you do not have one, it is OK, you may check out a measuring wheel from me and measure your property.
Please photograph your home, directions were given out on Friday. They simply say to photograph your hourse from the front, back & sides. Please take at least 2 pictures per area; 1 facing ther house and the other with your back to the house. Think about the sun direction. We have Early Release on Tuesday. Welcome back! We are sill working on our plant science unit. We are working our way up the plant. We still have reproduction both sexual & asexual. In this basic botany unit we have incorperated some plant propagation with your PGP(persoanl growing project). All students should have researched this on Friday Feb 13 in the computer lab. We will begin propagating your project on Tueday. Please keep in mind there is atype written report required at the end of the growing portion which should be appx 30 days. It is under the evaluation portion of your PGP packet.
This part is a lot of fun ! This is a lab, so proper CLOSED TOED SHOES are REQUIRED, No flip flops, sandels etc.
You may bring in an old yuckie pair of shoes and keep them in the classroom. This way you will never have to worry about haveing the right shoes or lose any of your work ethics points!!
Please let me know if you have problems. Thanks, Mrs. Hutmacher
