May 19 Landscape Design
WOW can you believe it??????????
Presentattions of you final project begin Monday. Please be ready to present, be professional and be on time!
Seniors will go first of course and we will move quickly. See ya next week, Ms H
May 19 General Horticulture
This is it!!!!! The week ahead looks like this
Monday: TEXT BOOK return, in class. Alternative Energy, GH Gases. There is also an extra credit assignment (20pts.) due on Monday only. Finding you Ecological Foot Print, a very short quiz about your habits. Print it out and bring it to class on Monday.www..myfootprint.org
Tuesday: Lab finals, these are physical assignments drawn at random and to be performed as a group. All lab rules apply. Pleaase be prepared. Senior Finals 2 & 3
Wednesday: Review
Thursday: 2 & 3 period finals, open notebook. Please be prepared with your own pencil.
Plants are awesome, look at them and your surroundings everywhere you go. Have a great summer Mrs. Hutmacher

Tuesday- Diseases & possible walk for 3rd period as 2nd period went last Thursday
Wednesday - IPM, cehmicals & pesticides (work sheet)
Thursday -Test over the material. Discussions about weather & environment issuses
Friday - The weather & environment issuses

May 12 2008 Landscape Design
The Home stretch...................... This is it. Your Landscape Design Final is 20% of your overall grade. You need to work really hard to complete the assignment, have it look professional and meet the customers needs. No more fooling around. Seniors you will present them on MONDAY MAY 19 during the regular class period.
Additional Requirments:
* excellent graphics & be creative
* outline house in fine pt. sharpie
* type a list of plant materials that are to be transplanted (from where to where)
* type a list of materials to be removed
* be prepared to introduce yourself and explain your design
Customer Requirments:
- open up the area
- use as many of the existing plant materils as possible
- he would like some grass
There are NO exceptions it is due on MAY 19, let me know if you need help, Ms H
May 5 Landscape Design
We are on the home stretch!!! All students need to be working on the FINAL PROJECT!!

Have a list of requests
What you should be doing NOW:
Using trash paper to organize your ideas & rough draft
Drawing the trees you would ike to save
Identifing plants you would like to relocate etc
ID TEST on MONDAY & ID NOTEBOOK DUE
TYE DYE T-SHIRTS ON WEDNESDAY (bring dye $ on Monday please)
