-we went over the homework on double object pronouns-<br />
-we completed a listening and a reading selection to help review for the test tomorrow-<br />
-we reviewed how to form the subjunctive and using it with expressions of need as well as with hopes and wishes-<br />
-you worked on the legend project-<br />
tarea:study for test tomorrow!!<br />
Spanish2<br />
-we went over the imperfect homework and then you all did an activity discussing what you were like when you were 8 years old.<br />
-we did an activity together to begin to compare main actions and conditions to compare and contrast the two past tenses studied-preterite and imperfect-<br />
homework-review use of the imperfect online with some of the cool sites we use!</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we reviewed subjunctive a bit more and you all took the requiz to show me that you do, in fact, know how to form the subjunctive!!<br />
-we did lots more practice with the double object pronouns-attaching with gerunds,affirmative  tú commands, and the infirnive. <br />
-you all did another reading practice about legends <br />
-we went to the lab and did more dop practice with drlemon!<br />
tarea; study for test on Friday!<br />
Spanish 2<br />
-you all did 2 reading, and 1 listening activity with the imperfect!<br />
-we went to the lab and practiced the imperfect online at quia and studyspanish and spaleon.<br />
-tarea: worksheet using the imperfect changing some verbs from the present to the imperfect.</p>]]></description>

*we went over the double object pronoun homework from the cuaderno de gramática-p.35-36 <br />
*we briefly reviewed the subjunctive and you all took a subjunctive formation quiz<br />
*you all completed a practice worksheet using the vocabulary on theatre and art, p. 163 and p.165<br />
* I gave back the quizzes-tomorrow you will redo if you are not where you need to be-<br />
*tarea-worksheet using double object pronouns<br />

*You all presented the restaurant skit-good job for most!<br />

-today we talked about different ways to put together double object pronouns in Spanish. Lots of auditory, oral and written practice with Double object Pronouns.(DOP's)<br />
-quiz tomorrow over subjunctive formation -we reviewed for that on the board-practice with drlemon , studyspanish or elmaeagles online.<br />
-tarea:workbook pages 35-36-all exercises<br />
Spanish 2<br />
-you all continued practicing the dialogue-presentation will be tomorrow-<br />
-I introduced the Imperfect on the board.<br />
-We listened to a family talk about the past using the imperfect.<br />
-I gave you all lots of practice with the irregular preterite.<br />

         <title>Wednesday, the 12h of November</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we reviewed the formation of the subjunctive again, and went over a few written and oral activities. <br />
-you all continued collaboration with the legend project. <br />
Spanish 2<br />
-we did lots of practice with the preterite forms of pedir, servir, traer, and you all completed workbook pages to reinforce.(49-51)<br />
-in the lab, you continued practice with  these 3 verbs as well as other familiar preterite verbs with quizlet.<br />
Tarea: lo más tv-free demos-find examples of these 3 verbs in the preterite or in the present!</p>]]></description>

         <title>Monday and Tuesday the 10th and 11th of November</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
Monday-you all were divided into your reading groups and each group was given a legend from a diifferent spanish speaking country. You all read it, then prepared to share certain vital information about the legend in class tomorrow. I also returned the quizzes over the new vocabulary returned on Friday.<br />
Tuesday-The groups shared and you all filled out the information on a graphic organizer. I assigned the big Legend Project due on the 20th. You all began to brainstorm.<br />
Spanish 2<br />
-You all were given 15 more minutes to finish the writing portion of Friday's Test.<br />
-we discussed some of the differences in food/meal/mealtimes in the USA and the Spanish speaking world. You all did 2 writing activities using food vocab. <br />
Tuesday<br />
-You all did lots more review with food/ordering in a restaurant and I gave  you dialogues to prepare for Monday.<br />
Tarea: study R14&15 for a quickie assessment tomorrow!</p>]]></description>

         <title>Friday, the 7th of November</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we continued to review the vocabulary and then you all took a quiz- Great job on these!<br />
-we went to the lab and did a webquest on legends and indigenous people -the Aztec, the Maya, and the Inca and learned lots about each.<br />
-No hay tarea este fin de semana, pero deben continuar aprendiendo:)</p>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we reviewed the homework to help you all do great on a vocabulary quiz tomorrow over the new legend/warrior vocab<br />
-you all, in groups of 4, completed a vocab puzzle to review a bit more<br />
-I played a cool song to remind you of the awesome Popo and Ixta legend.<br />
-In reading groups, I gave you a legend that explains how the toad got his spots.<br />
You all completed 2 graphic organizers with the legend-one individually and one collectively.<br />
Tarea: Estudiar el vocabulario.<br />
Spanish 2<br />
We spent all period reviewing yet again for the big Theme Test tomorrow. I think you should all do great!<br />

         <title>Wednesday, the 5th of November</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we reviewed the new vocab -on p. 140 and then you all took your 4th Dictado of the Semester-I hope you are seeing improvement-I sure am!<br />
-listening activity to hear the timeless love story of Popo and Ixta, and we discussed a little about the legendary tale.<br />
-you all were given a worksheet to complete for comprehension of the story, as well as the new vocabulary on which you will be quized on Friday!<br />
Spanish 2<br />
-We continued practice on the board/overhead with prepositions and commands-we wrote down and told each other how to get to certain nearby places. <br />
-You all did more practice with irregular preterite verbs pedir, servir, traer, tener,poder, and poner. You turned this in, and I will check it this evening. Remember your next test is Friday, so please Study the vocabulary and the grammar.<br />
Tarea-worth a winkie button-look up the English cognate for semáforo-semaphore and write the definition, and an original sentence using it in english and in spanish!</p>]]></description>

You all took the test over Theme 3 today.<br />
Tarea: write down/flashcard master.com all vocab on p. 155, as well as theatre-p.185 and art,p.163<br />
Spanish 2<br />
we practiced all period with superlatives and comparatives and did lots of activities to reinforce. You all then took pics from my magazines and wrote comparative/superlative sentences about them and then shared them with the class. Good job with this concept!<br />
*remember the test over this theme of travel and the city locations is this Friday.<br />

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Spanish 3<br />
-we continued to review-the vocabulary(279), the conditional, some irregular preterite verbs used for emotional reactions, preterite vs imperfect, and use of present subjunctive with unknown or nonexistent and with disagreement and denial. The test will be on Monday! You also recited the Lorca poetry, and 5th practiced online.<br />

We went over the comparative/superlative homework from Thursday, and continued to practice these orally. You all read Cap. 8 of Alejandro, and we did a brief day of the day activity.<br />
