Hi, welcome to my blog. Each week I will provide study help for words from our vocabulary book. Assignments appear on the blue handout in your notebook. Additional assignments will appear on my blog. The vocabulary will be used as often as possible in connection to the literature we are currently studying. Each Friday we will have a quiz on the current vocabulary unit. Every three weeks, we will have a cummulative test over the past three units. I am available almost any day for additional help.
We will begin studying Unit 1 on Monday, August 18th. All students need to have purchased their vocab books by that date. The books are $8.00 each. To provide support in learning the words, I have links to the following sites for practice. As always, I advise you to create flashcards through quizlet.com or on your own notecards as an easy means to become more proficient with the new vocabulary.
