Parents: Every Monday for the next 6 weeks my Health class will go into the computer lab with their Agenda. We will look up teacher blogs and fill out our calendar with school information. I have noticed many students are using the blog, but they are not transferring that information to the H Book (agenda). The blogs have proven to be beneficial, but in college and in the work environment your professors and bosses do not have a website for you to go and find forgotten material. In an effort to begin a positive habit we are encouraging students to use this agenda. Any help from home would be much appreciated.
As we begin our Unit on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs, I always find the amount of information/misinformation that our young people have on this topic is disheartening. Some topics we will be discussing include laws, effects, consequences, and binge drinking. Hopefully a dialouge can develop from one of these topics. Thank you for your support.
