New Reading Scheudle for The Scarlet letter

New Reading Schedule:

This is still pretty heavy, but hopefully yall will be able to read a little bit better and understand as much as you can.
1. Read chaper 7-8 for Thursday 8/21
2. Read chapter 9 for Friday 8/22
3. Read chapters 10-15 for the following Monday 8/25
4. Read chapters 16-18 for that Wednesday 8/27
5. Read chapters 18-20 for Friday 8/29
6. Read chapters 20-24 (finish the book) for the following Tuesday 9/2

Now that you know these chapters are coming up, please make sure that you read ahead if you know you have a big schedule.

I will also be scheduling REVIEW sessions both before and after school, so that if you feel like we are moving too quickly, you can come talk to me and to your peers about the story! More information about those sessions is forthcoming.

Advisement 11th Grade

11th Grade Advisement will take place Setember 16, 18, 22, and 24. You will have an opportunity to schedule an appointment during Open House, Thursday, August 28th.

This website rocks! The GHSGWT (Georgia High School Graduation Writing Test), which everyone must take, posts last year's prompt and then several example papers. You can see some really bad ones, some pretty good ones, and some really good ones so that you get an idea of what/how you need to write in order to pass the test!
