AP Computer Science ==> We begin the case study this week. Be thinking of what type of fish you want to be. We will start the week with a role play so that we may become familiar with all the methods involved. Later in the week we will extend methods, to use inheritance and polymorphism.

IIST 2 ==> It seems some projects are slowing down with the end of the year. Let's get a little more creative, apply ourselves, both time and energy, into our certification studies when projects are at a standstill.

IIST 3 ==> Some projects are nearing completion, and they are exciting. Other projects are not being approached with enough creativity and enthusiasm. This is your last opportunity to get the certification preparation you need, for *free*; take advantage of it.

Banking/Finance==> We have completed general insurance introductions. Now we will move on to Homeowner's insurance in particular. We will discuss all three coverages, Property damage, Loss of use, and Liability.

AP Computer Science ==> We will talk about primitive variable types and object references in Java on Monday. Java handles references differently than we have experienced before, so we will spend some time on this. We will follow up on some specific exercises using the String class as our object.

IIST 2 ==> Specific students may be required to turn in daily status reports. Everyone is in their ultimate path. There are a number of active projects and there should be more being designed as well as a significant amount of certification preparation.

IIST 3 ==> Projects abound, and I'm looking for more progress. Your project must not interfere with the equipment for the rest of my classes. Lack of a current project means attention to certification. Specific students may be required to turn in daily status reports.

Banking/Finance==> There were 3 in-class assignments, the third of which is due on Monday after lunch. The credit quiz will be on Tuesday. The remainder of the week will be introducing the Insurance unit, and some in-class assignments.

AP Computer Science ==> We will talk about primitive variable types and object references in Java on Monday. Java handles references differently than we have experienced before, so we will spend some time on this. The week will be fragmented a little with the graduation tests and the confusing schedule.

IIST 2 ==> Specific students may be required to turn in daily status reports. Everyone is in their ultimate path. There are a number of active projects and there should be more being designed as well as a significant amount of certification preparation.

Banking/Finance/Awesomeness==> Quiz on checking on Monday. Credit is the unit of the week and we are almost through with it. There are a couple of worksheets we will work on and finish the unit off with a quiz. Our next unit will give you a chance for some creativity as we complete a unit on taxes.

AP Computer Science ==> Early this week we will learn about the ArrayList class. There are several features of Java 5 which we will learn: The 'for each loop', auto-boxing, generics and improved Wrapper classes. Junior testing will also interrupt or standard procedures this week. Your assignments on Monday will not be due until the end of class the following Monday. Our quiz will be on Thursday.

IIST 2.5 ==> I should have received your design projects. There are still some of you that have not submitted a design, which means you cannot possibly be doing what your supposed to be doing.

IIST 3 ==> Work is coming along well on most of your projects. Some students are spending too much time on small jobs that should not require an entire week. Hardware students have every opportunity to be ready to pass the A+ certification exam.

Finance ==> We will continue our lessons on credit. Discussing benefites of credit, things to be wary of, and different types of credit. The importance of your credit score and about the different credit reporting agencies.
