Nov 3 - Nov 7

strong>Computer Programming ==> Last program due Wednesday. We begin w/C++ on Thursday. Be prepared to listen, watch and take notes on the presentation.

IIST 1 ==> Last week of hardware. Get everything you can out of the foundation.

IIST 2 ==> This week we roll over. Give it 100% in your final path for this, the last few days in your foundations.

IIST 3 ==> Continued work on your designed projects and certification should keep you working diligently. See me and discuss any new ideas you may have for your last 6 week experience. Don't forget that 6 week status reports are due this week.

Banking and Investing ==> Risk and general insurance concepts are the focus of this week. We hope to get the intent, history, and necessity of insurance during this week. In the weeks that follow, we will focus on specific types of insurance.

Oct 27 - Oct 31

Computer Programming ==> Current program is due Wednesday at beginning of class. We will get our final program assignment for this section of the class. Friday, we will have a test. Be prepared to take notes on Monday, as we will be beginning C++ syntax and comparing and contrasting.

Computing in the Modern World ==> All students should be moving along in their next paths now. If there are any questions regarding expectations please clarify them with me. Your status reports will be returned to you.

IIST 2 ==> You have started your major path. If we need to discuss expectations and duties please make an appointment with me to do so. You should have everything you need for your continued education in this field.

IIST 3 ==> Continued work on your designed project and certification should keep you working diligently. You need to re-visit your project design if it is not suffeciently stimulating your interest or challenging you.

Banking and Investing==> This week we will continue in our study of the credit systems. We will intensly study installment credit and find out why it may not be the best financial move to pay off an installment loan, early. Later in the week we will look at what the credit approval process entails and work some case studies.

Oct 20 - Oct 24

Computer Programming ==> We will have a final test in programming structures and design. In the meantime we will continue work with C++ and learn required syntax and its applicability.

Computing in the Modern World==> All students should be moving along in their next paths now. If there are any questions regarding expectations please clarify them with me.

IIST 3 ==> Continued work on your designed projects and certification should keep you working diligently. If you're one of the few whose project is nearing completion, you need to be thinking about starting your next one and about what it should entail.

Banking and Investing ==> Continued study about Credit this week. We are going to discover the differences between revolving credit and installment credit. Always keep in mind how the things we talk about will affect your credit score and credit worthiness. Remember, the credit score is an important asset in your overall financial plan!
