Journals and Portfolio's or 3 page Essay is due Tuesday Dec. 18th by 3:15 in room 419. Points will be deducted for every day late.
Rise Journals are due Today. Tuesday Oct. 30th.
Remember, always sign out and in. If you do not go to RISE clear it with Coach Cobleigh or Adm. 2.

2. Everyday experiences must be recorded in your journal.
3. One-sentence entries are not acceptable. Students must record insightful experiences. Students need to record what they did and what they thought about the day’s activities. Each entry must be dated.

Remember all students should be recording entries in their Journals. The Journal entry should be a reflection of your day's activities. What you did and what you thought about you day.

Rise Responsibilities

Attendance – Attendance is a major part of your grade. If you are not in class you cannot help the students. 30% of your grade.
1. 5 points will be deducted from your six weeks grade for unexcused absences.
2. You attend all classes at Harrison including Character Education Day.
3. You never stay at Harrison to attend another activity unless Coach Cobleigh or another administrator excuses it.
4. Report to ADM2 for a work assignment if you can’t go to RISE
Teacher Evaluations – Your teachers will evaluate your performance on these criteria. 20 % of grade
1. On time for the R.I.S.E. session each day.
2. Shows daily preparation and demonstrates a willingness to help the teachers.
3. Take initiative to help both teacher and students
4. Works to establish a positive rapport with the R.I.S.E. students
5. Shows enthusiasm for the R.I.S.E. sessions with the students.
6. Demonstrates organizational skills when working with students.
7. Overall evaluation of student’s performance.
Portfolio/Essay – 20% of you grade
1. Choose work for your portfolio of which you are proud. Take items that represent Rise accomplishments this year.
2. Essay – Write a double spaced three page paper on “ What Rise meant to me”
Sign in/out – All students must sign in and out at both Harrison and your Rise school
1. Failure to sign in and/out is a violation of Harrison school policy, this will result in disciplinary action.
2. Everyone must sign in at the front desk of his or her Rise School.
Travel and arrival times will be monitored.
3. If you don’t go to RISE you must report to ADM 2 for a work assignment.
