EQ: How do we discuss Fantome de l'Opera?

Monday: Return 3 tests, discuss past, present, futur
Review chapter 1, then read chapter 2 and discuss: Fantome
homework: Write new vocab list (w/ English) for pages 13,14 of chapter 3
review all vocab for chapters 1,2,3

Tuesday: Discuss/review vocab for chapters 1,2,3
Read chapters 3 and 4
write act. A and B for both chapters
write summaries for 1,2,3,4 on vocab/study sheets
Remember: YOu can come in for review and extra help on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
If you have difficulties reading w/ comprehension, YOU need to come in for extra help
Do NOT be shy about asking for help, comprehension is very very important!

French II---Dec. 1,2

EQ: How do we discuss our daily activities?

Monday: Introduce body parts, draw body and label and pronounce
Sing: Tete, épaule, genoux, pieds
Introduce idea of reflexive verbs, explain conjugation
make list of 11 verbs to be used for chapter 4/7
homework: write 11 sentences, 1 per verb, to describe your day
ex: Je me leve a 6 heures 30 le matin.

Tuesday: check 11 sentences, go over possibilities on over head, discuss
Bon Points: using reflexives
work w/ partner: review body parts--test on Friday
"J'ai mal a..........." and describe your copain.

devoirs: Journal: Décrivez vos vacances
remember to bring permission form for Wed's trip to 'Douceur de France'

Tuesday: Discuss questions for chapter 10, write summary together in class w/illustrations
Listen to chapter 10 on CD
Begin reading chapter 11--finish for Thursday
Idiom lesson 6: pronounce expressions/ review, write act. A and B for Thursday

Wednesday: during class, visit Douceur de France, grade based on participation in French
