Aug. 18-22 Math I
This week, we are finishing the Fiona task (function word problems) and turning in all except task #6. Throughout the week, we will be studying further the 6 different parent graphs and the equations that go with them. WE will be analyzing the maximum, minimum, intervals of increase, intervals of decrease, and end behavior. Also, we will be assessing the basic properties (commutative, associative, and distributive), the sets of numbers (whole numbers, counting numbers, integers, rational, irrational & real numbers). Be ready to recall by memory quickly the square numbers at least up to 100. This list would be :
0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100
This class is doing a great job!

Welcome to Harrison High School! Math I will be working on functions in the first unit, which should last for approximately two and a half to three weeks. This week, students will be taking a pre-test and also working on the first performance task of the semester called "Exploring Functions with Fiona". There will not be any homework for the first week of school.
