British Literature - Week of Sept. 29th

Grammar Essential Question: How can demonstrating correct usage of grammar help you improve your writing? (ELA12C1:c)
Literature Essential Question: How can identifying the type of discourse (romance literature) in "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" deepen our understanding of this alliterative poem? (ELABLRL3)

RESEARCH DEADLINE: Oct. 3rd - 10 primary source cards due beginning of class. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Monday - Begin Vocab. 8 (ELABLRC3), work with subject/verb agreement (ELA12C1), Begin reading "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" (ELABLRL1,3).
Tuesday - Vocab. 8, S/V agreement, continue reading "Sir Gawain". Make sure to bring your research guide to class on Wednesday as well as your research novel.
Wednesday - I will be in a vertical team meeting. You will take your open book Research Guide test (ELA12W3:e) and read quietly in your novel. Keep working on Vocab. 8.
Thursday - Vocab. 8, S/V agreement, finish reading "Sir Gawain" and work on questions if time permits. HW:
Study for Vocab. 8 quiz and have primary source notecards to turn in on Friday.
Friday - Vocab. 8 quiz, review for Middle Ages test on Monday, begin movie if time permits. TEST MONDAY
