Updated 3/19/2008, 4:15 p.m.- District engineers, in consultation with the software provider, have resolved this issue. The issue will remain open while engineers monitor the system for any further problems.
The e-mail notification feature of the Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV) is currently not working properly for all users. For some users, e-mail notifications are either delayed or not going out at all, while other users are not affected. An example of delayed e-mails is a threshhold notification in which you receive an e-mail notifying you that a grade has dropped below a threshhold that you have pre-determined, yet the current grade indicated in the e-mail is above that threshhold.
Software engineers for the school district and the software provider are working to resolve the problem and we will post updates to this page when additional information is available.

How do I, as a non-custodial parent, receive a Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV) account?
Unfortunately, the current product release that we have for the field test does not provide for more than one parent account per student. Parents may share the single login account or the custodial parent can create e-mail notifications to be periodically delivered to the other parent. Alternatively, the student could share their account with one of their parents or create the same e-mail notifications. Multiple e-mail notifications can be created within a single PIV account. This limitation will be overcome in the next major release of the product due out this summer in time for the new school year.
