Student parking

Due to upcoming SPLOST construction in the 2018-2019 school year, there will be fewer parking spaces available for students. We will still take parking applications for all eligible students with seniors having priority. There will be limited availability for juniors, and most likely no availability for sophomores. Please be aware that submitting an application for parking does not guarantee a parking spot. For students that do not receive a spot, we encourage carpooling or riding the bus to limit traffic on campus and to avoid potential towing. Thank you in advance for your flexibility and understanding during this transitional period to improve our school facilities.

Application procedure

Seniors and juniors who wish to apply for parking must do the following:

  • Download and complete the parking application and parking contract found in the sidebar. The parking application requires the signatures of the student, parent or guardian, and vehicle owner. If the parent or guardian is also the vehicle owner, they must sign in both places.
  • Prepare the following items and submit with application:
    • Parking Application
    • Parking Contract
    • Valid Georgia driver's license
    • Current proof of insurance for the vehicle being registered (check the expiration date)

We do not consider an application complete without all the items above. Please submit all required documents to the Athletics Office during our open application dates.

We process applications using students' cumulative high school attendance history to establish the order in which we process the requests. Attendance history helps determine which students receive permits. 

parking decal information

Parking decals will not be available for pickup until Hoya Hello on Monday, July 30!

As previously communicated, parking decals will be available for pickup at Hoya Hello on Monday, July 30. We are happy to announce that all seniors who have applied for parking will be able to pay for and pick up a decal. As we projected, however, not all juniors that have applied for parking will be receiving a spot. We will notify the juniors that have received a spot by e-mail to their parent/guardian’s address listed in our information system by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27. Please have a plan in place to either ride the bus or carpool in case you do not receive parking. We will notify the remaining students on the wait list for parking if additional parking becomes available throughout the semester.

All students who have received parking will be able to pay for and pick up their decal at Hoya Hello on Monday, July 30. Please report to the athletics office (room 820) during your scheduled time here on campus (juniors from 2:00–3:00 p.m. and seniors from 3:00–4:00 p.m.) Please make sure to come during your grade level’s scheduled time-period so that we can make this process run as smoothly as possible.
