STEM

The Harrison STEM Program creates a learning environment that allows students to be active and engaged in a rigorous course of study in math and science by connecting the disciplines that are more relevant for the century in which they live. The rigorous learning environment offers students a curriculum that is driven by problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning, student-centered development, and a cumulative capstone project. The Harrison STEM program emphasizes a focused course of study in bio-medical sciences through two distinct pathways: bio-medical engineering and advanced healthcare science. Harrison STEM students will complete STEM specific science, math, and foundations courses in conjunction with honors and AP level courses in curriculums outside of the STEM program sequence. The unique aspect of the Harrison STEM program lies in the potential for our students to earn post-secondary credits towards their general course of study and professional certifications with successful completion of program requirements. The Harrison STEM program makes one guarantee: we will challenge students to go beyond their wildest dreams of achievement.
